CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENTS
By nature, construction is very dangerous. Heavy equipment, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, explosives, and solvents all pose serious risks for permanent disability, injury or death. Worker's compensation is not enough. Although workers have the right to file a worker's compensation claim against their employers, the benefits are rarely adequate enough to compensate for lost wages, medical bills, future earning capacity, and diminished quality of life.
More than an employer may be at fault. You may file an action against people or firms other than your employer who may have caused or contributed to the accident or may have been negligent because they failed to maintain a safe work site. Responsible parties may include: landlords, contractors, sub-contractors, equipment manufacturers, tool manufacturers, and materials suppliers.

LEAD PAINT POISONING
Lead paint poisoning is one of the most common environmental health conditions affecting small children. It is a serious condition that has major consequences for the immediate and long-term health of your child. Your child has the right to live in a safe and healthy environment. Due to the negligence of a variety of individuals, corporations, and agencies throughout the years, millions of children have become lead poisoned. If your child has been lead poisoned, you may have a good case to obtain compensation for medical expenses, your child ' s diminished future prospects, and pain and suffering.
If you suspect your child has been lead poisoned or is being negligently exposed to a lead paint hazard, contact Radna & Androsiglio, LLP. We will zealously represent you to obtain compensation for your child ' s loss and will take action to force the parties responsible for your child's exposure to undertake their legally enforceable duties. We have the experience, skill, and passion to help you with your case. Give us a call or send an e-mail. We will respond rapidly.
Millions of American children are affected by lead poisoning, most under the age of six. The most common forms of lead poisoning occur when a child ingests lead paint chips or inhales lead paint dust. Studies have shown that exposure to lead may cause damage to the nervous system, brain injuries, seizures, growth retardation, mental retardation, convulsions, coma and spontaneous death. In addition, lead exposure has also been linked to hyperactivity, reading and learning disabilities, lowered IQ and behavioral problems.
Lead poisoning occurs when the amount of lead in a person's bloodstream is too high. An amount of lead the size of three granules of sugar if ingested daily is enough to poison a child. Oral ingestion of lead dust and lead paint is the primary way that children get lead poisoning. Children under the age of six and pregnant women have the highest risk of lead poisoning.
If your child has been exposed to lead paint or has developed high levels of lead from another source, you should contact us immediately. You may be entitled to compensation and we can help.

NURSING HOME ABUSE & NEGLIGENCE
Families often place elder loved ones in nursing homes so that they can be given the care and attention that they need and deserve. Unfortunately, more family members are becoming aware of the problems that exist within nursing homes and the reports of nursing home abuse. According to the Congressional "Nursing Home Abuse Report," nursing home abuse occurs at one in three facilities. The prevalence of nursing home abuse in the U.S. is extremely high, but experts warn studies and reports may only be revealing a small percentage of the actual number of nursing home abuse instances since many cases can go unreported.
Nursing home abuse is not always reported because the resident fears the consequences. In many cases, the elderly being abused has to rely on the abuser and does not want to say anything. Nursing home abuse can take on many different forms, including physical abuse, mental abuse, sexual abuse, financial abuse or neglect.
If you or a loved one has been adversely affected by Nursing Home Abuse, please contact us at Radna & Androsiglio, LLP. We provide a FREE, NO OBLIGATION consultation, allowing you to learn more about your legal rights and options. Pursing your Nursing Home Abuse claim will cost you nothing until we successfully resolve your case. Call us.

PRODUCT LIABILITY
Manufacturers and store owners have a responsibility to consumers. They must ensure that the products they sell are neither defective nor inherently dangerous. If a dangerous or defective product injures an unwary consumer, the manufacturer (and sometimes the designer, distributor, wholesaler, or retailer) is considered legally liable for product liability, as long as the consumer was using the product as it was meant to be used at the time of injury. Whether the product is a hair dryer or an automobile tire, manufacturers must make sure that products are designed and made safely, that quality control systems prevent defective products from entering the market, and that adequate directions and warning labels are available to protect consumers. If you or a loved one has been injured by a dangerous or defective product in New York, a product liability settlement might be in your future. WILLS
The attorneys at Radna & Androsiglio, LLP have over 30 years of combined experience in preparation of wills as well as the administration or probate of estates.
It is important to have a Last Will and Testament for the following reasons:
To make sure that after your death, your estate is distributed in accordance with your wishes rather than in accordance with the way that the State of New York wishes to have it distributed.
To ensure that a person, called an executor, of your choosing is in charge of the distribution of your estate. (Your executor is the person that you choose to collect and manage your assets, pay your debts, pay any taxes, and then, in a manner approved by the Court, distribute your assets to your beneficiaries in accordance with your wishes).
To choose a guardian for your children and provide your own instructions for that guardian rather than having the State of New York appoint a guardian.
To protect your assets for your heirs.
If you do not have a will, or if your wishes with regard to distribution of your estate have changed since you prepared the will that you now have, you should consider preparing a new will as soon as possible.
If you have a loved one who has passed away with or without a Last Will and Testament the attorneys at Radna &
Androsiglio, LLP are able to assist you in the administration or probate of the estate.
